Who’s Who: Brianna Jara

Brianna Jara just finished her first year of collegiate soccer in the fall, helping Citrus College complete a historic season with the first-ever Western State Conference Championship in program history. 

The Baldwin Park, Calif. native played in 20 games for the Fighting Owls, making 19 starts as a member of the back line and helped Citrus finish the year 15-6-1 overall and 12-2 in conference. Following the season, Jara grabbed All-WSC second team honors.

When she's not on the pitch, the animal science major works in the Citrus Athletics Department doing a variety of jobs. More often than not, Jara can be found behind a camera lens, taking pictures of the games for the website and more. She can also take stats, run the scoreboard and if need be, get on the microphone as the public address.

"I am very creative, friendly, loud, and funny," said Jara about what makes her who she is. "Also, I am very hardworking and I'm very outgoing."
