A day after getting back in the win column, Citrus College kept rolling with a 3-0 victory over West LA.
The Owls improve to 9-3-2 overall and sit second in the Western State Conference-South standings with a 4-1-1 mark. The Wildcats sit at 4-9-1, 2-4-0 on the year.
Less than three minutes into the contest, Berenice Mancinas put the Owls on the board, tucking in a pass from Julianna Graciano.
Citrus kept pressing but didn't capitalize again until late in the second. Kaylee Sanchez found Emily Velasquez Vasquez to double the Owls' lead.
Ten minutes later, Sanchez found the back of the net herself to cap the scoring for Citrus.
The Owls host LA Valley on Friday with a 3:00 p.m. kickoff.
