Citrus College battled from behind to secure a 1-1 tie with LA Valley Friday afternoon.
The Owls move to 9-3-3 overall and 4-1-2 in the Western State Conference with the draw, while the Monarchs sit at 4-9-2, 2-4-1.
LA Valley scored in the 36th minute to put the pressure on Citrus to respond. The Owls pressed and out-shot the Monarchs 15-to-2 but couldn't find the back of the net until just before the final whistle blew.
Ashley Virgen collected a clearance at midfield and drove a ball over the LA Valley backline to a wide-open Berenice Mancinas, who took a touch and tucked a shot into the far post to even the score, 1-1.
The Owls head to Antelope Valley College on Tuesday for a game at 2:00 p.m.
