Citrus College is headed to the postseason for the fifth time in six seasons.

The Owls picked up the 13 seed to take on fourth-seeded Mt. San Antonio College in the SoCal Regional Opening Round on Saturday at 7:00 p.m. at Mt. SAC.

Citrus looks to upset the higher-seeded Mounties and advance out of the first round for the first time. In 2019, the Owls tied San Diego Mesa 1-1 but the Olympians advanced on a penalty kick shootout.

Earlier this year, Mt. SAC grabbed a 4-1 victory over the Owls with Abigail Salvador scoring the lone goal for Citrus. It sparked a seven-game unbeaten streak for the Owls, who head into the postseason riding an 8-0 victory to cap the regular season.
