Owls Break into Top 10 at No. 9
After a big 1-0 win Tuesday, Citrus College moved up another spot on the California Community College Sports Information Association Rankings Thursday.
The Owls, who sit 11-1-0 on the year and lead the Western State Conference-South standings with a 5-0 mark, broke into the top 10 with a No. 9 ranking.
As a team, Citrus boasts a 0.42 goals against average, which ranks third in the CCCAA, with 10 shutouts so far (first in the CCCAA). Offensively, the Owls have scored 42 goals on the year, which ranks seventh in the State.
Citrus is on a five-game winning streak heading into Friday's home matchup with Santa Monica at 3 p.m.
