No. 12-ranked Citrus College battled but came up short at Santa Monica, dropping a 3-1 road loss.
The Owls slip to 14-4-1 overall and 8-3-1 in Western State Conference-South action. The Corsairs improve to 11-5-3 on the year, 7-3-2 in conference.
Kaylee Sanchez scored the lone goal for the Owls, finding the back of the net in the 39th minute to tie the game before halftime.
Santa Monica came out strong in the second half, however, and scored two unanswered goals to take the 3-1 victory.
The Owls close out the regular season on Friday with a 7 p.m. kick off at Antelope Valley College.
