For the sixth time in seven years, Citrus College is headed to the postseason.

Citrus picked up the 15th seed in the CCCAA Women's Soccer Southern Regional Tournament and will host 18th-seeded Ventura College on Wednesday, Nov. 16, at 5:30 p.m. at Claremont High School. The winner of the game will advance to Saturday's matchup with No. 2 seed Santiago Canyon.

The Owls head into the postseason with a 14-6-1 overall record and are looking to snap a three-game slide. The Pirates finished the regular season with a 9-8-4 record and come off a loss as well.

Citrus and Ventura met earlier this year with the Owls grabbing a 1-0 victory. Jayme Beatty scored the game-winner for Citrus, while Maddy Moris made five saves in goal to preserve the Owls' sixth-straight shutout.

Tickets for the playoff game ($12 for general admission and $8 for senior citizens, children and students) can be purchased online HERE.
