Citrus College couldn't hold off the College of the Canyons in a 4-0 defeat Tuesday evening.
The Owls slip to 5-3-2 overall and 3-1-1 in Western State Conference action. The Cougars improve to 8-3-1 on the year and 5-0-0 in conference.
Canyons outshot Citrus 25-to-3, putting 10 on frame to force Maddy Moris to make eight saves in goal and Isabella Villalobos to add two saves.
Dianna Garcia gave Citrus its only shot on goal of the night in the 50th minute, but the Cougar goalkeeper was able to make the save and preserve the shutout.
The Owls look to shake it off as they head to Santa Monica on Friday for a 1:30 p.m. kick off.
