Citrus College scored first but couldn't hold on to the victory in a 1-1 draw with the College of the Canyons Friday afternoon.
The Owls move to 9-4-5 overall and 7-1-4 in Western State Conference-South action, while the Cougars stand at 13-3-3 on the year, 10-0-2 in conference.
Jayme Beatty found the back of the net off a Dianna Garcia assist in the 11th minute to put the Owls on the board early.
It looked like Citrus would walk away victorious, but Canyons managed to sneak one in before the final whistle blew to share the result, 1-1.
Citrus closes out its home slate on Tuesday as Santa Monica College comes to town for a 5:30 p.m. contest.
