Citrus College closed out its season on a high note, defeating Antelope Valley College 2-0 Thursday.
The Owls finish with a 10-5-5 overall and 8-2-4 Western State Conference-South mark, while the Marauders slip to 13-4-4 on the year and 8-2-4 in conference.
Jayme Beatty scored both goals for the Owls, knocking in a pass from Lucy Bower in the 68th minute and another from Emily Cherry in the 87th minute.
Maddy Moris grabbed nine saves to pick up the shutout.
