Owls Set to Host Round One of SoCal Regionals

Women's Soccer picked up a 2-1 win over Glendale College last Friday, November 15th to wrap up thier regular season.

Citrus College improves to 14-3-2 overall and 10-3-1 in conference games, while Glendale College falls to 6-11-4 overall and 2-9-3 in conference on the season.

After going down 1-0 in the first half, the Owls stepped up, answering with a game-tying goal in the 39th minute when Sarah Nelson found Alexia Leon who launched a shot into the Vaqueros goal.

Bridget Ward scored the game-winning goal in the 82nd minute when Sarah Nelson sent a perfect cross through Glendale's defense to go up 2-1.

With the win, Citrus College is now set to host San Diego Mesa College in the first round of the 3C2A SoCal Regionals, a rematch of the Owls' first game of the season in which they defeated the Olympians 2-1 at home.
