Citrus Takes on WSC #2

Citrus College continued its conference season at the Western State Conference-South #2.

Charly Figueroa and Andrea Hayler finished in the top five of the 200-yard breast with Figueroa taking third in two minutes, 47.29 seconds and Hayler following in fourth (2:48.08).

Figueroa grabbed another top-10 finish in the 400-yard individual medley, touching the wall in 5:25.97. Sierra Beltran was just on the cusp of a top-10 finish in the 500-yard free, finishing in 6:05.78.

Andrea Hayler posted a time of 27.98 seconds in the 50-yard free, while Delaney Latham followed in 28.69 seconds. Latham also finished the 100-yard free in 1:02.05, while Isabella Romero clocked in at 1:09.39 and Frankie Pacheco touched in 1:10.62.

Romero finished the 200-yard free in 2:23.92, while Genesis Moradel posted a time of 2:41.96 in the 200-yard back.

On the men's side, Cristian Duran clocked in at 26.42 seconds in the 50-yard free and Gavin Tanner followed in 27.79 seconds. Duran also posted a time of 2:50.52 in the 200-yard breaststroke.

The Owls head to the College of the Canyons next on March 31 at 11 a.m.
