Ventura, CA (Volleyball) -- The Citrus College Volleyball team recorded their fourth straight sweep on Friday evening when they travelled to Ventura College. The Owls dispatched of the Pirates in three sets, winning 25-11, 25-12, and 25-15.

Citrus made quick work of their hosts on Friday. Sophomore Chelsey Martinez led the way with a team high 13 kills and three solo blocks. Freshman Kayla Eddings added eight kills, and sophomore Kassidy Greenberg chipped in with six. Sophomore Breanna Stone dug up a team high 15 balls for the Owls, while freshman Amanda Stone dug up 10 and added 30 assists.

With the win, Citrus improves to 5-3 on the year. The Owls will be back home on Wednesday evening when they host State #17 Moorpark College. The match is set for a 6:00 PM start.
