Santa Barbara, CA (Volleyball) -- The Citrus College Volleyball team's road woes continued on Wednesday evening at Santa Barbara City College. The Owls, who have had three of their five losses headed into Wednesday come on the road, lost again, this time in four sets to the host Vaqueros.

The match would be tight throughout. Citrus lost the first set 26-24, and then lost all momentum in the second set as they fell 25-15. In the third, the Owls rallied with a 25-20 victory, but the Vaqueros pulled it out in the fourth, downing Citrus 25-23.

Sophomore Breanna Stone had a team high 17 digs in the loss, while freshman Amanda Stone had 12 digs and 34 assists. Sophomore Alexis Lunney had a team high 13 kills, while sophomore Kim Collins added 11.

With the loss, Citrus falls to 7-6 on the year. The Owls will have to turn it around quickly as they resume Western State Conference South Division play on Friday, on the road at Glendale College. The match is set for a 7:00 PM start.
