Fullerton, CA -- After last night's exhilarating four set win over visiting Los Angeles Pierce College, the Citrus College Volleyball team suffered a letdown on Wednesday night when they traveled to take on State #21 Fullerton College. The Owls were swept for just the second time this season by the Hornets.

In the loss, sophomore Kayla Eddings paced the Owls, with a team high 12 kills and nine digs. Sophomore Amanda Stone recorded 20 assists; while sophomore Kiyhanna Dade had a team high 10 digs. Sophomore Ana Bui rounded out the top performers of the night with eight digs.

With the loss, Citrus falls to 3-3 on the year. The Owls will try and rebound on Friday when they take on Palomar College in the opening contest of the San Diego Mesa College Tournament. That match is set for a 11:00 AM start.
