Ventura, CA -- After a nearly two week absence from competition, the Citrus College Volleyball team got back out on the court Wednesday evening at Ventura College. The Owls got right back to rolling, sweeping the Pirates 25-20, 25-19' and 25-11.

The Owls got a solid team effort in the win. Sophomore Ana Bui led Citrus with 12 kills, while sophomore Kayla Eddings added seven to go along with a team high 23 digs. Freshman Danielle Hundley chipped in with six kills, while freshman Cassandra Freitag notched three solo blocks. Sophomore Amanda Stone rounded out the fun with 22 assists. 

With the win, Citrus improves to 6-5 overall. The Owls will be back home on Friday when they open WSC South play by hosting West LA College. The match is set for a 6:00 PM start in the Owls' Nest.
