Santa Clarita, CA -- The Citrus College Volleyball team headed up to College of the Canyons on Friday afternoon and were sent back home with a loss in four sets. The Owls only really got it going in the one set losing, 15-25, 13-25, 25-22, 16-25.

In the loss, both Cassandra Freitag and Kyla White added a team high nine kills, Freitag doing so with a .562 kill percentage. White also came up with a team high 13 digs, a number matched by freshman Hailey Pontes. Freshman Kristen Fox rounded things up with a team high 14 assists and team high four aces.

With the loss, Citrus drops to 6-12 overall and 3-4 in WSC South play. The Owls will on the road again this Wednesday when they take on Glendale College at 7:00 PM.
