Lancaster, CA -- 23 days after the Citrus College Volleyball team handed visiting Antelope Valley College a straight set sweep at home, the Marauders returned the favor. The Owls struggled from the get go on Friday, in straight set loss to AVC.

Antelope swarmed on Citrus in the very first set 25-12. The Owls tried to regain some of their composure in the second falling 21-25, but the Marauders controlled the match throughout its entirety going on to win the third set 25-20.

 Sophomore Kyla White posted a team high eight kills and 14 digs, but had an uncharacteristic .038 kill percentage. Sophomore Cassandra Freitag added six kills, while freshman setter Kristen Fox handed out 19 assists.

With the loss, Citrus drops to 8-14 overall and 5-6 in WSC South play. Citrus will close out their 2014 season on Wednesday when they host West Los Angeles College at 6:00 PM.
