Santa Clarita, CA - The Citrus College Volleyball team had a tall task on their hands on Wednesday night when they travelled to State #5 College of the Canyons. The Owls were swept by the Cougars 25-20, 25-9, and 25-18.

Freshman Briana Olvera led the way with five kills. Sophomore Samantha Jape added four. Sophomore setter Kristen Fox had five assists and an ace, while freshman Zhari Johnson had nine digs.

With the loss, Citrus drops to 6-13 overall and 3-5 in WSC South play. The Owls will be back at home on Friday night when they host Glendale College at 6:00 PM.
