Citrus College Women's Volleyball traveled to Antelope Valley College last Friday, October 4th to earn their second win of the season, defeating AVC 3-2 (23-25, 23-25, 25-13, 26-24, 15-12).
Citrus College moves to 2-8 on the year, 1-1 in conference, while Antelope Valley College goes to 3-7 on the season and 0-1 in conference.
The Owls put together an impressive team performance in the five-set win over the Marauders, led by McKenna Cooper's 34 kills and 11 digs.
Danielle Erlandson and Tara Biscan recorded nine kills each, while Alexia Avalos and Isabel Luna recorded 16 and 12 digs, respectively. Raegen Johnson led the team with a season-high 53 assists to support the Owls in a big road win.
Citrus College will be on the road against Santa Monica City College tomorrow, Wednesday, October 9th at 6 p.m.
