Glendora, CA -- Assistant Coach Meaghan Paschall has been named the Interim Head Coach of the Citrus College Women's Water Polo program. Paschall takes over for Andrew Silva who stepped down to accept a position near his hometown late last week.

"I am extremely excited to take over as the head coach for this season. The roster I am given is filled with such incredible dedication and determination that pushing them too their best will never be an issue," Pachsall said. "Every one of our student-athletes contains exceptional amount of talent and ability and it is now my job to help them reach their potential. With all that stands before us, I don't see anything less than a successful season ahead."

Paschall brings a strong playing resume to her stint on the deck. Paschall prepped four varsity seasons at Pasadena High School, earning 1st team All-CIF honors. After high school, Paschall matriculated to California State University, East Bay, where she played three seasons for the Pioneers.

"Meaghan is a promising young coach, and we're excited about having her remain on staff and taking over the women's water polo program," said Dean of Kinesiology and Athletics Jody Wise. "Her positive relationship with the team will make this transition much easier for the program as a whole, and we are confident that Meaghan will keep the program headed in a positive direction."
