Citrus College battled in its final home game of the year but fell 9-8 in overtime to Ventura College.
The Owls drop to 10-13 on the year and 1-2 in Western State Conference. The Pirates improve to 11-8 overall and 3-1 in conference.
Teghan Miller led with four goals and had two assists, while Andrea Hayler followed with three goals and added an assist. Amelia Wolfe and Mia Meldrum also scored for the Owls.
Defensively, Miller posted four steals and Delaney Latham had three steals, while Mia Pfutzenrueter finished with 10 saves.
Citrus heads to the Southwestern Tournament this weekend,
