Citrus College faced top-seeded Santa Barbara City College in the Western State College Tournament semifinals on Friday but dropped a 20-9 loss.
The Owls drop to 16-14 on the year, while the Vaqueros improve to 26-5 and advance to the tournament championship game.
Teghan Miller led the Owls with five goals and had five steals. Delaney Latham added two goals, while Mia Meldrum and Andrea Hayler also found the back of the cage.
Citrus challenges Cuesta College on Saturday at 11 a.m. for third place in the tournament.
