Citrus College battled in its last two games of the Battle at the Beach Tournament on Saturday but came up just short in a 9-4 loss to No. 10-ranked Golden West and 11-10 defeat to San Diego Miramar.

The Owls slip to 12-13 on the year with just two games left before postseason begins.

Delaney Latham had six goals on the day, while Sarah Jurado, Sierra Beltran and Andrea Hayler each scored twice. Genesis Moradel and Bianca Casas also rattled in goals for the Owls.

Defensively, Isabella Romero finished with 13 saves over the two games.

Citrus hosts Cuesta College (1 p.m.) and LA Valley College (5 p.m.) on Wednesday to close out the regular season.
