Seven Owls Grab All-Conference Honors

After a solid campaign where Citrus College finished third in the Western State Conference and advanced to the second round of the 3C2A SoCal Regional, seven Owls picked up all-conference honors. Delaney Latham, Andrea Hayler, and Trinity Hulet grabbed first-team honors; Sierra Beltran and Genesis Moradel picked up second-team recognition; and Isabella Romero and Elizabeth Walls earned honorable mention.

Latham and Hayler also grabbed 3C2A All-American honors. 

Latham was a dominant force for the Owls, finishing the year with 77 goals on the year – the second most in the conference and 10th-highest in the State – and scoring in all but three games for Citrus. She also had 27 assists, 51 steals, 40 drawn exclusions (ninth in the State) and six field blocks on the year. 

Hayler was also a force to be reckoned with and finished with 86 steals, which sits second in the 3C2A, and drew 59 exclusions (third in the State). She also was second on the team with 56 goals and had 52 assists (second in WSC, seventh in 3C2A).

Hulet was a constant presence for the Owls and finished the season with 18 goals, 26 assists and 29 steals. She also had 19 drawn exclusions and three field blocks.   

Beltran was third on the team with 44 goals on the year. She finished with 22 assists, 33 steals, seven drawn exclusions and two field blocks.

Moradel had a strong season, posting 14 goals, 35 assists and 22 steals for the Owls. She drew 37 exclusions, which ranks 12th in the State and had eight field blocks.

Romero picked up 13 wins in the cage for the Owls, which ranked third in the WSC. She also had 174 saves (fifth in conference).
