Ontario, CA (Cross Country) -- With the majority of the Owls' top women's runners sitting out, and the men's team completely taking the weekend off, the Citrus College Women's Cross Country team took 10th out of the 10 competing teams at last weekend's Foothill Invitational.

Top runner and freshman Marily Meza was not one of the Owls to sit out on Friday. Meza  finished 52nd overall and 46th overall in the team competition. Meza crossed the finish line in a time of 23:11. Freshman Adrienne Morales-Taite finished behind her in 73rd overall place (25:40), while freshman Kaori Oshi was 75th (25:43).

The Owls will be back at full strength this coming week when they take part in the Western State Conference Preview Meet. The meet is scheduled for a 3:30 PM start on Friday October 5th at Kenneth Hahn Park in Los Angeles.
