Larue Leads Owls at SoCal Preview
Ryleigh Larue led Citrus College at the SoCal Preview Meet Friday, grabbing a top-25 finish.
Larue finished 24th overall in the 5K race with a time of 20 minutes, 26.8 seconds. Emily Aparicio followed with a time of 24:51.3, while Sara Fisher clocked in at 27:31.4 to round out the top-three Owl women finishers.
On the men's side, Jason Bailey finished in the top 50 with a time of 21:54.6. Saul Mora crossed the finish line in 24:21.2 and Edward Prestegui Melchor posted a time of 24:35.0 as Citrus' third finisher.
Next week Citrus heads to the Western State Conference Preview Meet on Friday, Sept. 30, before heading into the postseason in October.
