Owls See Improvements at Oxnard Invite

Citrus College raced off at the Oxnard Invitational on Friday and saw multiple improvements.

Ryleigh Larue continued to lead the Owl women and took 16^th overall with a time of 20:14.9 – shaving three seconds off her time last week. Lucy Zarita was the second Owl to cross the finish line, clocking in at 25:53.7, followed by Evelin Mendez's time of 27:42.1.

On the men's side, Citrus beat out host Oxnard with Geo Cabello leading the charge. Cabello posted a time of 23:56.4, followed by Aaron Zamarron in 26:56.8. Christopher Duran wasn't too far behind, finishing in 27:04.9 and Adonai Lopez came in at 28:37.5.

The Owls head to the SoCal Regional Preview next week with the first race starting at 10 a.m.
