Owls Take on Golden West Central Park Classic
Citrus College competed at the Golden West Central Park Classic Friday morning.
Ryleigh Larue grabbed 12th overall with a time of 21:06.0, while Blanca Madrid followed in 25:21.8. Lucy Zarita Osorio clocked in at 26:53.8 and Evelin Mendez rounded out the Owls with a time of 28:12.4.
Geo Cabello continued to lead the Owl men, crossing the finish line in 24:16.4. Aaron Zamarron followed in 27:33.4, while a slew of Owls came in one right after the other. Bailey Helgren finished in 28:04.7, while Christopher Duran (28:06.9) and Louis Amador (28:07.9) were one second apart. Adonai Lopez clocked in at 28:15.4 and Jared Almendras capped the Owls at 31:54.3.
The Owls head to the Western State Conference Preview Meet next week on Sept. 29 at 10 a.m.
