Rodriguez Competes at 3C2A State Championships

Citrus College Cross Country traveled to Fresno, CA this past Saturday, November 23rd as athlete Noah Rodriguez competed in the 3C2A Cross Country State Championships. 

After a successful season in which Noah Rodriguez placed 31st at the Pirate XC Invitational, 51st in the Oxnard College XC Inivitational , 103rd in the Golden West Central Park Classic, 106th in the SoCal XC Preview Meet and 100th in the Manny Buatista XC Invititational, Rodriguez qualified to compete at this year's 3C2A Cross Country State Championships by placing 82nd overall at the SoCal Regional XC Championships. 

Hosted at Woodward Park in Fresno, it was cold and rainy as the Men's 4-Mile race got underway. Noah Rodriguez, the lone Owl to represent Citrus College Cross Country finished the race with a time of 24:52.4 with an average mile time of 6:13.1, good for 182nd overall in the state. 

Now that the 2024 season has concluded, Citrus College Cross Country sets their sight on 2025 with hopes of returning to the 3C2A Cross Country State Championships to compete among the best in the state.
