The Bowl Blog: Start Fast & Finish Strong
Throughout the week, Citrus College sophomore defensive back Rodney Mathews will be blogging about the Citrus College Football Bowl experience. The Owls will be taking on Fullerton College this Saturday in the Western State Bowl at Fullerton High School. The kickoff is scheduled for a 6:00 PM start. Today's blog is the second entry of The Bowl Blog.
Practice has been going great this week. We've all been trying to work our hardest especially since we know this is our last week of football. We all agree that it went by too fast and that we have to win this last game. Start fast and finish strong has been our motto this entire season and this game will really challenge that. Our coaches are really making sure that we focus on our new schemes and formations that we put in this week and forget about past mistakes. I'm really excited and I can't wait for Saturday.
