The Soccer Blog: Prepared to Play

Throughout the Citrus College Women's Soccer 2012 post-season, Citrus sophomore Jade Vehawn will be blogging for CitrusOwls.com. The Owls, the #10 seed in the Southern California playoffs will be taking on SoCal #7 Ventura College at Ventura at 1:00 PM on Saturday. Today's blog, is the second entry of The Soccer Blog.

 Coach Tracey basically summed up playoffs as being a fast and physical game of soccer. Our practices this week have consisted of drills and activities that challenge us and force us to play fast. At the beginning of the week, I wasn't quite sure if we were prepared to play this playoff game, but after the practice we had today it think that we are more than prepared to play. The anxious atmosphere in the locker room today really contributed to our style of play today, and I think practice tomorrow will be the same if not better.
