Women's Polo hosted LA Valley Wednesday for a conference tournament play-in match. The winner of the match would advance to the conference tournament this weekend. But the Owls would fall short by a single goal, ending their 2018 campaign.

Citrus played LA Valley close, jumping out to an early lead, but then falling behind in the first half. The Owls would stay neck and neck with the Monarchs throughout the match, tying the score on several occasions, and surging in the 4th quarter to almost tie the score with seconds to play. But a slight miscue prevented a quality shot on the last possession, and cemented the score 9-10.

Citrus season goal leader Cameron Schween stuffed the LA Valley net 3 times and added a pair of steals. Delilah Lozano posted a well rounded stat line with 2 goals of her own, along with 2 assists and 2 steals. Goalie Noel Paz stopped 7 saves on 9 shots faced for a save percentage of .778 in her 2 quarters of play.

The Owls end the season with a 9-15 overall record and a 3-4 conference mark.
