The Game of Inches
October 08, 2016
Victorville, CA - They say that football is a game of inches. A game that is played inside the trenches and is won and/or lost in those few inches gained on the ground. If that’s the case, that explains why the Owls fell for the second straight week as a rushing attack that was averaging 3.9 yards per carry and 146.8 yards per game, was held to -0.7 yards a rush and -22 yards on the whole in Citrus’ 7-26 loss.
