Glendora, CA - Any individual interested in playing men's or women's golf for Citrus College during the 2016-2017 academic year is highly encouraged to attend an interest meeting on the campus at the Citrus College Driving Range. The women's team is fresh off an apperance in the 2016 CCCAA State Championships, while the men qualified for the 2016 CCCAA SoCal Championships. The meeting is scheduled for Friday June 17th, 2016 at 5:00 PM.

Glendora, CA -- Two days after helping lead the Citrus College Women’s Golf program to their best ever season, when the Owls finished as the runner-up at the 2015 California Community College Athletic Association State Championships, sophomore Jamie Lopez has signed a scholarship offer. Lopez will be attending and competing for NCAA DII Holy Names University in 2016.

Morro Bay, CA - The 2015 Citrus College Women's Golf team, which will go down in program history as the most successful team in the program's iteration, wrapped up its campaign on Monday afternoon with a runner-up finish at the 2015 California Community College Athletic Association Women's Golf State Championships.

Morro Bay, CA -- After one day of competition, the Citrus College Women’s Golf team sits in second place at the 2015 California Community College Athletic Association State Championships. The Owls trail a familiar foe in Santa Barbara City College by 15 strokes, and lead third place Reedley College by eight strokes.

Solvang, CA - The Citrus College Women's Golf team claimed it's highest ever team finish at the 2015 Southern California championships on Monday afternoon. The Owls took second place behind conference rival Santa Barbara City College in advance to the 2015 CCCAA State Championships for the first time as a team.

Solvang, CA -- The Citrus College Women’s Golf team wrapped up their 2015 Western State Conference season on Monday afternoon with the conclusion of the 2015 Western State Conference Finals. The Owls finished the year in second place in the WSC, with sophomore Lexandra So and Jamie Lopez finishing in second and third overall, and qualifying as a team for the SoCal Finals for the first time in program history.

Solvang, CA -- Through one day of competition at the 2015 WSC Championships the Citrus College Women's Golf team found themselves in a familiar position, sitting in second place. The Owls were just five strokes back after round number one, while sophomore Jamie Lopez paced the entire pack with a 75.

Freshman Mackenzy Shafer recorded her second scoring round of the year on Monday afternoon, carding a 93, as the Owls finished in second place.
Owls Back in Second in Final Regular Season Match

Simi Valley, CA -- The Citrus College Women’s Golf team found themselves back in second place at the conclusion of the final regular season match on Monday afternoon. After finishing in third place at last week’s WSC Glendale Match, Citrus worked their way back into second place by posting a team score of 323 at the WSC Moorpark Match at Simi Hills Golf Course.

Owls Drop to Third at WSC Glendale

Pasadena, CA -- A week after finishing in first place at the WSC Event hosted by Bakersfield College, the Citrus College Women’s Golf team dropped to a disappointing third place on Monday afternoon at the WSC Event hosted by Glendale College at Brookside Golf Course #1. Santa Barbara reclaimed the top spot, beating second place Canyons by five strokes, and the Owls by eight.

Breakthrough

Bakersfield, CA -- After finishing in second place in each of their first seven tournaments of the season, the Citrus College Women’s Golf team finally had a breakthrough on Monday afternoon at the WSC Event hosted by Bakersfield College. The Owls finally finished in first place defeating College of the Canyons in a tie breaker, and edging third place Santa Barbara City College by four strokes.

So & Co Finish Second at Home Hosted Match

San Dimas, CA -- The Citrus College Women’s Golf team played host to the rest of the Western State Conference on Monday afternoon out at San Dimas Canyon Golf Course. Sophomore Lexandra So finished in first place individually, while the Owls settled for another second place that forced a three way tie for place in the overall conference standings.

A Preview of Things to Come

Morro Bay, CA -- With the best teams from across the State going head to head on the course that hosts the CCCAA State Championships, the Citrus College Women’s Golf program got a preview of things to come over the weekend. If Sunday and Monday’s performance were any indication, the Owls have a lot to be positive about moving forward, as they finished in second place out of 18 teams.

One Step Forward, One Step Back

September 22, 2015

Filmore, CA -- The Citrus College Women’s Golf team took one step forward on Monday afternoon at the WSC Event hosted by College of the Canyons. Unfortunately, the Owls also took one step back, as they finally defeated Santa Barbara City College for the first time this season, but also stayed in second place as College of the Canyons assumed the top spot.

Just Short

Santa Barbara, CA -- The Citrus College Women’s Golf team came up just short on Monday afternoon at Santa Barbara Golf Club. The Owls finished just four strokes back of first place Santa Barbara City College, but instead had to settled for their third straight second place finish at an event with the Vaqueros.

Palm Desert, CA -- For the second event of the 2015 season, the Citrus College Women’s Golf program came in second place. On the strength of sophomore’s Jamie Lopez and Lexandra So, the Owls bested six other schools to nab the runner-up spot in the 2015 Desert Classic Invite.

Owls Make Strong Statement in Season Opener

Ventura, CA -- The Citrus College Women’s Golf Program kicked off their 2015 season with a strong statement earlier this week at the 2015 South Coast Invitational, putting the rest of the State on notice that they’ll be a contender this season. The Owls took second place overall out of 13 competing teams, and earned a second place finish in the first conference event of the year, as the second day of the competition also counted as the WSC Neutral Site Event.
