Williams Signs With Cal State San Bernardino

Glendora, CA -- Citrus College Sophomore Women’s Soccer player Jasmine Williams signed a national letter of intent on Wednesday afternoon to continue her playing career next season with California State University, San Bernardino. The signing wraps up a storied two year career with the Owls, in which Williams may go down as the best player in program history.

Glendora, CA -- Citrus College sophomore Jasmine Williams was named the Western State Conference South Division Player of the Year, the first in Citrus Women’s Soccer history, and Head Coach Tim Tracey was named the Western State Conference South Division Coach of the Year recently. Along with those two honors nine other Owls dotted the All-WSC South first, second, and honorable mention teams.

Corners Kill Owls

Ventura, CA -- With the Citrus College Women’s Soccer team making their first ever appearance in the California Community College Athletic Association post-season, the Owls knew they’d have to be on their best game. That wasn’t the case though as Citrus came off flat and struggled to defend the corner in route to a 3-1 loss.

Women’s Soccer Wraps Up Regular Season With Win

Culver City, CA -- The Citrus College Women’s Soccer team wrapped up their most successful regular season campaign in program history on Friday afternoon with a 4-0 win at West LA. The Owls’ record setting season ended with the win, and now Citrus will wait to see who they face in the post-season.

The One That Got Away

Glendora, CA -- The Citrus College Women’s Soccer team let one get away on Tuesday afternoon. The Owls took a 2-1 lead into halftime against visiting College of the Canyons in what amounted to a defacto conference championship game. The Cougars roared back in the second half though, and scored two unanswered goals as Citrus ultimately fell 3-2.

Woodland Hills, CA -- The Citrus College Women’s Soccer team hit the road on Friday afternoon for a big matchup at LA Pierce College. While, Citrus didn’t get exactly what they wanted, they didn’t hurt themselves any as they settled for a 0-0 tie with the Brahmas.

Bakersfield, CA -- No matter how you slice it, the long trip up the 5 Freeway to the 99 is always a tough one for any team in the Western State Conference South Division. That was especially true for the Citrus College Women’s Soccer team on Tuesday afternoon as they escaped their trip to Bakersfield College with a 1-0 victory.

Glendora, CA (Women’s Soccer) -- For the second time in four games, the Owls put up seven goals on an opponent on Friday afternoon. Citrus scored three times in the first half and four more times in the second half as they totally handled visiting LA Valley College 7-0.

Glendora, CA -- Citrus College sophomore Jasmine Williams had a hand in both of the Owls’ goals on Tuesday afternoon, and helped guide them past visiting Santa Monica College. Both goals came in the first 25 minutes, and the Owls hung on for a 2-1 win.

Glendale, CA (Women’s Soccer) -- It was the same old story for the Citrus College Women’s Soccer team on Friday night at Glendale College. The Owls did the same thing to the Vaqueros that they did at the start of conference play, as they came up with a 3-0 win over Glendale for the second time this year.

Glendora, CA (Women’s Soccer) -- The Citrus College Women’s Soccer team went seven up on Tuesday afternoon against West LA College in a WSC South meeting. Citrus took a season high 35 shots, and framed 14 of them on goal, all the while not allowing the Wildcats to muster a single shot in the 7-0 win.
