Glendora, CA -- Citrus College sophomore women’s soccer player Rebekah Evans won’t be moving far as she continues her education and collegiate soccer career. Evans has accepted a scholarship off from NCAA Division II Azusa Pacific University, which sits next door to Citrus College, and will be suiting up for the Cougars in the Fall of 2015.

Glendora, CA -- Citrus College sophomore midfielder Natalia Ponce has become the first Citrus College Women’s Soccer player from the 2014 season to accept a scholarship offer. Ponce recently signed with NCAA Division I University of Lousiana at Monroe, where she will enroll in the Fall of 2015.

Seven Owls On All-WSC South Team

Glendora, CA -- The 2014 All-Western State Conference South Division Women’s Soccer awards were announced recently, and Citrus College had seven athletes named to the list. Sophomores Cindy Ramirez, Natalia Ponce, and Rebekah Evans were all first team selections, while freshmen Joni Gener and Zariah Silva were awarded second team honors. Sophomore Jessie Gener and freshman Brittney Frias rounded out the superlatives with Honorable Mention nods.

The Citrus College Sophomores played their final game in an Owl uniform on Friday, and were handed a 1-0 loss despite a strong effort.
Owls Season Ends With Close Loss to Canyons

Glendora, CA -- The Citrus College Women’s Soccer team’s 2014 campaign came to a close on Friday afternoon when they hosted conference leading College of the Canyons. The Owls hung tough with the Cougars who blew Citrus out early in the year, but fell in a close one 1-0.

Lancaster, CA -- Though the chances are slim, the Citrus College Women’s Soccer team stayed in the Western State Conference South Division hunt on Tuesday afternoon with a 2-0 win at Antelope Valley College. The win makes Friday’s game against visiting College of the Canyons one of two conference deciding contests on the final day of competition.

Glendale, CA -- Citrus College Sophomore Cindy Ramirez broke the single season assists record on Tuesday evening at Glendale College. Four games after breaking the career assists record, Ramirez broke the single season one with an assist in the 39th minute, in a 3-0 win over the host Vaqueros.
